NURTURE SELF-AWARENESS BY KEEPING A PERSONAL JOURNAL:
Keeping a personal journal is a heigh-leverage Quadrant II activity that significantly increases self awareness and enhances all the endowments and the synergey among them.
what things would u write about in a personal journal?
- If you dont like a result you're getting in your life, get it out on paper. Notice how th law of harvest operates in your life, see how consequences flow from root cause. See how results can be traed to paradigms, processes, and habbits.
- If you're not sure why you still do some things that you know are harmful or self-defeating, analyze it, process it, write it down.
- If your parents did somethin that drove you nuts, and you said to your self, "when I'm a parent, I'm never going to do that!"-- and then you find yourself doind it-- write it down.It builds awareness of yourscripting,It helps you to make wise choices.
- If you gain an insight or learn a principle or observe a situation where a principle produced certain results, write about it.
- If u feel some inner prompting and ou either follow it or ignore it, write about it and what happens as a result. The process helps you pay more attention to that inner guidance system. It strengthens and educates your conscience.
- If you make a comitment to yourself or to someone else, write about the way you use your independent will tocary it out.
- If you commit to exercise four times a week, evatuate the factors that empowered you to do it- or explore the reasons why you didn't.
- Invision possibilities and write them down. Dreaming builds creative imagination. then test your dreams. Are they based on principles? Are you willing to pay the price to achieve them?
- Stand ppart from your dreams. Look at them. Write about them. wrestle with them untill you're convinced they're based on principles that wil bring results. Then use your imagination to explore new applications, new ways of doind things that have the principle-based power to translate dreaming to doing.
Keeping a personal journal empowers you to see and improve, on a day-by-day basis, the way you're developing and useing your endowments. To read over your experiences of past weks, months, or years, you gain invaluable insight into repeating patterns and themes in your life.
